Starlink offline / crawling speeds
Check sky, power, and cable path before you assume the dish is dead.
Most “Starlink is broken” calls are obstruction, power brownout, or a cable/connector issue — not a failed dish. United Mobile RV installs Starlink hardware; we do not claim a Starlink certified dealer title.
Quick path
- Confirm clear sky — trees and eaves matter more than firmware myths.
- Verify dish + router are powered from a clean fused source (not a weak inverter brownout).
- Inspect cable ends and entry seals for water, crush, or intermittent continuity.
- Check the Starlink app obstruction / outage status before swapping hardware.
- If you dual-WAN with Peplink, confirm which path actually dropped (Starlink vs cellular).
