Dead bolt on entry door sticking

A sticking deadbolt on the entry door is usually frame flex from towing, same root cause as latch alignment issues. Graphite or dry PTFE lubricant in the mechanism helps short-term, but if it's binding on the frame itself, that needs a strike plate adjustment. Don't force it repeatedly — that's how deadbolt mechanisms actually break and turn a $10 fix into a $150 one. Does it stick worse after a drive, or randomly regardless of use?
