Booster amplifying but data still slow

A cell booster that shows improved signal bars but data speed is still slow points to the underlying cell tower or network congestion being the bottleneck, not your booster — a booster amplifies whatever signal exists, it can't create bandwidth that isn't there from a congested or distant tower. Check speed at a different time of day (evening congestion is common) before assuming equipment failure.
