Finding boondocking sites near the active corridor

Public land (BLM, national forest) dispersed camping is generally the best bet within the active corridor states, especially Wyoming and Idaho which have huge amounts of accessible public land. Apps like FreeRoam or the Bureau of Land Management's own maps are more reliable than general camping apps for finding legitimately legal dispersed sites rather than word-of-mouth spots that may not actually be permitted.
